The inspiration for this little blog is an upcoming little addition to the Walls family... my first nephew, <top secret name>. My "vision" for this blog changed into a more far-sighted approach, when I realized it might be nice for all the relatives and friends to have a one-stop-shop for all things Walls. Hopefully this fills that need.
In an effort to keep new updates on here regularly, I'm inviting all the Walls family to be co-contributors. I've also put the "feeds" to our photo websites at the bottom of the page, so all can watch the perpetual Walls family race (to avoid being last) to post significant events to the web.
Interesting concept, may have some merit, works for others, maybe we can make it work for us. As I sit in a Southhaven, MS motel room, I saw this email and decided to add my first time ever comment to a blog. Wow, technology is amazing. And time consuming. Why do I spend so much time in front of a computer screen? Oh well, there is nothing more important than family, so if this blogging stuff helps the family, then I am all for it. Thanks Ryan.
ReplyDeleteMy mom called me today with a list of the hurricane names chosen for this season. Not sure if they were ideas for the baby or ones to avoid. I told her I wouldn't want to give any child of mine an excuse to act like a hurricane. Funny idea though, to name your child after the hurricane of 2008, would be memorable. Ever since 2005 I've kinda felt sorry for people named Katrina.
